A gift from a husband to a wife, the painting symbolises the fullness of love in her life, the completeness of family, the ever evolving love in that unit which grows, changes, sheds and always finds its way back.

Reflecting on a time of great difficulty that has passed. Stripped bare, the woman watches as the world she knows renews itself, makes sense once again. Flowers move in and out of focus, fall randomly and with intent. They represent order and chaos, and how fragile our hold on order actually is. Flowers within her body, hair and spilling from her hand reflect her interconnectedness with the earth and also her role in life becoming whole again. She is observer and participant.
