‘Te Mata Peak, Discofied’ - PRINT

Celebrating Hawkes Bay’s iconic Te Mata Peak and Tukituki River. It is the local landscape with a touch of disco. Painted with brush and finger strokes it was one of those paintings that ‘just happened’.

Sonia Chrystall is a Hawkes Bay, NZ artist who paints in an abstract-realistic style – colours and many layers that take themselves in their own direction. She paints intuitively, allowing the painting to take on a life and a meaning of its own. And there has to be colour - “I want people to experience some crazy, beautiful colour happiness.”

This is a giclee print on high-quality, textured cotton rag paper (frame not included).
Sizes shown are image sizes, there is a 25mm white border around the image.

All prints are sent rolled in a postage tube with a tracking number.

FRAMING TIPS

- Prints should be framed behind glass for protection.
- Frame with or without a mat border (mount), but a mat border will make the print stand out.
- My framing suggestions are white/lighter coloured frames.
